Social media users have reacted to a a transgender prisoner who was being detained in a female prison has been jailed for life for sexually assaulting two women prisoners while on remand.
Many have blamed “political correctness” as the reason behind the horrific crime. Social media users on the Liberal’s Facebook page have claimed that they were “wondering when this would happen” and also “this is the result of political correctness”.
Sky News reports that Karen White a man who identifies as female admitted to sexually assaulting two women prisoners and to have previously raped two other women.
White is currently ātransitioningā to a transwoman, so his genitals and penis had not yet been surgically mutilated when the prison service transferred him to a female prison in an effort to be politically correct.
They have now admitted that this was a āmistakeā.
White already has convictions for indecent assault, indecent exposure and gross indecency involving children, violence and dishonesty.
When sentencing Judge Christopher Batty described White as a āpredatorā and said that he is a significant risk to women, children and the general public.
White will serve his life sentence in a male prison.
