Raring to Go: Cork’s Newly redeveloped Pairc Ui Chaoimh to host two All-Ireland SHC quarter finals later this month

The GAA has confirmed that the newly redeveloped Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium is set to host two of the All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals in the next fortnight.

The iconic venue which was given a €70m redevelopment over the past three years will see two clashes on the hallowed take place over the weekend of the 22/23 July.

Confirming the re-opening of the stadium which will hold up to 45,000 spectators, the GAA announced that reigning All Ireland Champions Tipperary will take on Clare on the Saturday the 22nd of July at 3pm, whilst Wexford will battle with Waterford the following day the 23rd at 4pm.  

The news of the matches was confirmed by GAA chiefs at the draw on Monday.
