The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a man in his 20s was killed in a collision between a car and a lorry in Waterford overnight.
The incident happened on the N25 at Bawnard, Ardmore, at around 4.30am today.
The lorry driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
