A Ryanair aircraft had to be evacuated after a passenger’s mobile phone caught fire while charging.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening at El Prat airport in Barcelona, Spain.
The aircraft had not yet taken off, so the crew deployed the escape chutes so people could exit quickly.
Nobody was seriously hurt in the incident, though some passengers sustained slight cuts and bruises.
