A Facebook group called ‘Silent Justice’ confronted two individuals in Drogheda last night accusing them of being in contact with one of their decoys and having intimidate conversations with who Silent Justice claimed were underage children but were actually members of their team.

Although not officially called or recognised as a vigilante group, many of its supporters say it is a vigilante group and they support the group on all “their great work”, as one user said.

The leader known as James O’Neill questioned both individuals for approximately 40 minutes each – all of which was filmed on Facebook Live and watched by thousands.

The gardai appeared at the end of both videos, it’s understood that no formal charges have been made to either individual.

Silent Justice is said to be made up of a group of parents who are worried about their own and society’s children safety.

What’s your view on this type of group, do you support their methods?
