Up to six thousand vehicles are expected to travel up to an event planned for this weekend, where people will demonstrate their anger against rising insurance premiums.
The event will kick off at 2pm in Merrion Sq. in Dublin this Saturday. An estimated turnout of 15,000 is expected.
Protesters are seeking urgent action by the Government on the issue, as many drivers have seen their premiums shoot up by up to 67% over the last two to three years, through no fault of their own.
