A female zookeeper sadly lost her life today, after a tiger entered the enclosure she was in.
All visitors at Hamerton Zoo Park in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, were evacuated shortly after 11am this morning.
It is understood a tiger entered the enclosure where the zookeeper was and attacked her, inflicting fatal injuries.
The circumstances of how the animal and keeper were in the same enclosure at the same time are not clear.
