Tributes have poured in on social media have a teenager was killed when he was struck by a car in Athlone yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened just outside Athlone Institute of Technology.
The 18-yr-old pedestrian was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
