Good news for visual entertainment aficionados today, as it has been confirmed that UPC Ireland will begin broadcasting the new UTV Ireland channel as part of UPC’s connected TV entertainment services from January 1.
The new channel will be broadcast along with the most popular Irish channels on UPC, like RTE One, RTE Two, TG4, TV3 and 3e, and also with plenty other leading European and international channels.
Speaking about UPC’s Horizon TV service and superfast broadband, a company spokesman said ‘This is now further enhanced with UTV Ireland as a dedicated new Irish channel which will go live on UPC in January.’
