A number of restrictions have been put in place at Tallaght hospital due to an outbreak of flu.
Representatives for the hospital say that the public should avoid visiting the hospital unless it’s strictly necessary, and that no children are allowed to visit either the adult or Children’s Hospital.
Also, patients attending for out-patient appointments are advised to have confirmation of their appointment on arrival.
These restrictions will remain in place until Monday, and will be reviewed then.
