Thousands of people took to the streets yesterday for the ninth anti-water charge protest in Dublin.
Protesters from all over Ireland met at Connolly and Heuston stations and marched to Dame St for a rally in the sunshine.
The chants of “we won’t pay” and “no, no, no” were heard throughout the city. The recent Fine Gael talks about what angle to push possible new water charges was the reason why the anti-water charges protest took place with rally participants claiming that they will never pay.
