Significant snowfalls are likely on Saturday night across Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, and Meath.
The outlook is for cold weather to continue into next week at least.
