A 21-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed during an altercation in Co. Limerick on Saturday evening.
The incident happened in the town of Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. It is understood that the dispute ‘involved children’, but no further details have been released.
Gardai recovered a bladed weapon which they believe was used in the stabbing.
A man of Eastern European origin was arrested at the scene and has now been charged in connection with the incident. He’s due to appear in court today.
