PayPal will close its Dundalk office from March 31, laying off 62 staff in Dundalk and Dublin.
The remaining staff in Dundalk will transition to teleworking.
The company will sell its Ballycoolin location in Dublin and move to a smaller, more central location in Dublin.
The 62 redundancies announced today represent around 3% of PayPal’s approximately 2,100 Irish workers. At least 35 of the redundancies will take place in Dublin and 27 jobs will be cut in Dundalk.
PayPal said the closure of its Dundalk office will affect a small number of workers hired by third parties to handle the installation on site.
