A lone gunman has been shot dead by police after he killed four people at a hospital campus in Oklahoma.
Tulsa Police have said that there had been “multiple injuries” in the shooting at the St Francis hospital campus in Tulsa, and that officers were still in the process of clearing the building where the shootings took place.
The gunman is believed to have died from a “self-inflicted gunshot wound” after the mayhem.
According to Sky, Captain Richard Meulenberg told ABC News that police were contacted about a man with a rifle on the second floor of the Natalie Medical Building, which “turned into an active shooter situation”.
When police arrived at the scene, “they found a few people have been shot. A couple were dead at that point.”
No details of the gunman have been made public at this time.
