The number of people in ICU is now said to be alarming NHPET into an avenue that no one wants to go down, possible further restrictions in the not too distant future.
They continue to say that no new restrictions are on the table but many feel that they’re not far off even though the vast majority are vaxxed.

Irish health authorities have reported 4,407 new coronavirus infections over the past 24h.
Health authorities have also confirmed that there currently are 614 with severe coronavirus disease across Irish hospitals. It is unclear how many of these were fully vaccinated.
It’s understood that 114 people are in ICU around the country.
