It’s beginning to get utterly farcical at this stage. Everyone has done everything that they’ve been asked to do yet Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar and Eamon Ryan are putting their foot down on the people of Ireland yet again.
The Government is today dictating that nightclubs, bars, and restaurants will have to close at midnight.
The new guideline implies that the Irish Government and its scientific advisers bizarrely believe that viral organisms only become active at one minute past midnight, so it’s unclear how effective this new idea will be, or how many people still care about what the Government says.
