In a tragic incident at a care home in the UK, a man has hurled his mother over a balcony to her death.
According to the Daily Mail, 52-year-old Robert Knight visited his 79-year-old mother and allegedly threw her over the balcony in her room, where she fell 13ft and suffered a serious brain injury which led to her death shortly afterwards. Mrs. Knight was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. It is reported that his actions are recorded on CCTV at the home.
Knight then allegedly told police that he had killed his mother but denied murdering her, claiming instead that he “lost control of himself”.
At the inquest into his mother’s death, it was reported that she died from serious head injuries. A case is currently being taken against Knight and the case continues.
