It’s a film that everyone watches at Christmas, and now the family of the man who wrote “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” has found a golden ticket of their own.
According to the Mail Online, the family of the late Roald Dahl have agreed to sell his catalogue to Netflix for the massive sum of €370 million. Once the deal has been completed, Netflix will be able to make films and TV dramas from the books that he wrote.
Roald Dahl was a hugely successful writer whose books have been enjoyed by children and adults alike. Over 300 million copies have been sold and the books have been translated into 63 languages.
