Another scandal involving IBRC has emerged today, with reports that 40 customers had an estimated combined debt of €40bn “written off”.
During the past week, Taoiseach Enda Kenny deemed the Government’s plans to probe into IBRC’ affairs “right and proper”, and also said he did not have any regrets about calling for a full inquiry into the SiteServ controversy.
It is understood that the upcoming IBRC investigation will have an in-depth look at deals involving debt write-downs of €10m or more.
