In an effort to collect money for a children’s hospital, a nine-year-old kid finished a 12-hour “midnight march” across central London, reports Breaking News.
From 6pm on Friday until 6am. on Saturday, Barney Thomas, a resident of Bristol, went on a walk across central London accompanied by his father, Darren Thomas, 36, and his godfather, Bradley Hackett, 36.
Barney acknowledged that having sore feet was the most difficult aspect of the challenge, but he was also “joyous” to have been able to raise almost £1,700 for Bristol Royal Hospital for Children through fundraising.
After Barney was born with two holes in his heart, they organised four fundraisers for the hospital and related charities: the “midnight march,” reports Breaking News.
