The new documentary The Disappearance Of Madeleine McCann has started on Netflix.
According to Netflix, the programme features “never-before-heard testimonies from those at the heart of the story, including friends of the McCann family, investigators working the case and from those who became the subject of media speculation and rumour.”
Madeleine McCann was just three years of age when she disappeared from her family’s apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007. Despite extensive searches and many lines of inquiry, no trace of the child has ever been found.
Madeleine’s parents claimed that the documentary “could potentially hinder” their ongoing search for their missing daughter.
