Dozens of Hollywood celebrities have promised to boycott the US State of Georgia after the Stateās legislature passed a bill banning abortions on unborn babies after six weeks.
Legislatures in the Southern State passed the H.B. 481 āHeartbeat billā last week preventing unborn babies with a detectable heartbeat from being aborted.
This new bill prompted outrage from Hollywood celebrities with former actress, now full time āsocial justiceā activist Alyssa Milano to pen an open letter to the stateās lawmakers promising to force the entertainment industry to āmove to a safer state for womenā.
Other celebrities including Ben Stiller, Amy Schumer, Don Cheadle, Chelsea Handler, Rosie OāDonnell, Debra Messing, Alec Baldwin and Sarah Silverman signed the letter promising to boycott the state unless unborn babies with heartbeats continue to be aborted.
Despite the threats from progressive Hollywood celebrities the bill was passed by the Atlanta legislature.
