Gardaí in Rathcoole, in Co Dublin have issued an urgent appeal to the public in order to help trace the whereabouts of missing 12-year-old boy Liam Goodwin.
The appeal comes after Liam failed to return home from school this afternoon.
Liam is described as being 5’9″ in height, with sandy-coloured hair, brown eyes and has sallow skin.
When he was last seen Liam was wearing a maroon Holy Family uniform jumper, grey shirt, grey trousers and black Nike runners, and was carrying a blue schoolbag.
Gardaí say they and Liam’s family are deeply concerned for his welfare and are urging anyone with any information to contact them at Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 666 7200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
