The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar dressed in sports gear to march in this afternoon’s Dublin Pride Parade in the City Centre.
He was accompanied by various member of Fine Gael, including Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan, Minister for Justice Simon Harris, Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy and Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe.
But that wasn’t all who joined Varadkar.
He chatted, laughed and even took selfies with PSNI Officers who travelled down from the North to march in the parade.
Varadkar also posed with members on An Gardai who were marching in the Pride parade for the first time in history.
The Garda Commissioner Drew Harris was obviously able to do some introductions given how he knows so many in the PSNI and is now the head of the gardai.
There has been a mixed reaction to the Pride parade flying on top of the GPO and at the Dail for the weekend.
