Gardaí in Limerick have launched an investigation after a French student was threatened during an aggravated burglary in the city.
It is understood the investigation comes after two males armed with a knife allegedly threatened the student at a house in Shannonvale, on the Old Cratloe Road, on Sunday.
Although thankfully the student wasn’t injured in the incident, it is believed that the two males fled the scene with a small sum of money.
Gardaí say following a brief search of the area, one of the males a juvenile was found hiding in the area.
He has since been taken to Henry Street Garda Station for questioning.
The added that a search for a second male is currently ongoing.
