A major search operation is underway after a young boy has gone missing on Lough Mask in Co Mayo.
It is understood that the boy aged 5, went missing after he fell from a dinghy that drifted into the lake.
Gardai say a number of rescue teams have searching the area since 6:30pm.
It is understood units from Corrib Mask Search and Rescue team are searching the area, whilst an Irish Coast Guard helicopter has also been called in to assist the search operation.
