A total of around 25,000 people are directly affected by pubs remaining closed. Alongside that goes all the offshoot of families, suppliers and other local businesses.
Today a hashtag has gone viral simply saying #SupportNotSympathy where pub owners are doing their best to just get a decent response from the government to aid their predicament.
Pubs are due to reopen on August 31st but many people believe that won’t be the case.
