Inner City Helping Homeless, a homeless charity based in Dublin has confirmed it has suspended an employee after “serious matters” were brought to the attention of its board.
The board issued a statement saying “We immediately initiated an investigation and commenced an independent process which we expect recommendations from shortly. In the interim, we have suspended an employee and the use of a separate service provider.
According to the Irish Examiner, no arrests have been made at this time.
The charity has notified the Charities Regulator of the “serious matter” which is not explained.
