Transdev, the company that operates the Luas tram system, has expressed disappointment at the prospect of further work stoppages around the St. Patrick’s Day time, and has also claimed that the wage demands put forward by drivers are both “excessive” an “not sustainable.’
Luas drivers have announced that they will walk out of the job again on several dates around St. Patrick’s Day, potentially causing chaos during the celebrations in the city.
Both sides remain deadlocked, and there is no solution in sight at this time.
