There were shocking scenes in Co Waterford today as an elderly member of the public was knocked over after a group of water charge protesters gathered to voice their disgust at the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Mr Kenny who was on the last leg of his election campaign was booed and heckled by a bunch of angry locals as he made his way into WLR (Waterford Local Radio) this morning where he was to give an interview.
However during his heavily guarded arrival one unfortunate pensioner felt the force of the angry crowd battling with the Gardaí as she was shamefully knocked to the ground. Thankfully the woman did not receive any major injuries during the scuffle. Watch the disgraceful video below:
