A teenage boy and girl from Wexford and Dublin respectively have been hailed as heroes for saving the life of a young boy who was drowning in Turkey.
Sean Thompson of the 6th Wexford Sea Scouts wasted no time by diving in and rescueing a young boy who was drowning out of the water to safety.
Mollie Tamara Powell of the Rush 38thscouts in Dublin, managed to clear the boy’s airway and put him in the recovery position and both were preparing to give him CPR when a nurse arrived at the traumatic scene.
Local police have said the two Irish teens are heroes and without their intervention, the boy would have most certainly died.
Congratulations to both Sean and Mollie, a reward is most certainly due!
