11 people are now confirmed dead, and over 60 injured, after a blast ripped through two metro carriages in the Russian city of St. Petersburg.
A explosive device packed with shrapnel detonated inside a carriage as a convoy was making its way between two stations.
A second device was located and defused shortly afterwards.
The entire network was shut down after the incident.
Nobody has yet claimed responsibility for the action, but authorities are calling it a ‘terrorist action.’
