The President of United States has told his security team that he is seriously considering military action now that Syria has caused the devastation of the gas poisoning attack this week.
The attack has killed more than 70 people with 50 of them said to be children.
“It crossed a lot of lines for me,” Mr Trump said of the gas poisoning attack, which he described as an “affront to humanity”. “That crosses many, many lines, beyond a red line,” the President said.
President Trump met his security team at 3pm Irish time and is said to have told them he is looking at options of using a “heavy hand” . Assad has denied all involvement.
President Trump’s comments are in stark contrast to the watery response from the former President, Barack Obama who is blamed by many by his lack of direction for the disaster that the Middle East has turned into
