Met Eireann had to issue a weather warning today due to high temperatures for five counties today.
The warning affects Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath, and was put in place until 6pm.
While temperatures reached 29C today, the warm spell is forecast to come to an end by Friday, with cooler and more unsettled conditions expected over the weekend.
Overall next week will see temps return to a lovely 20c, so it looks like we’re actually getting a summer this year!
