Troika officials are back in Ireland for a week to carry out their second review of the country’s progress after the financial crash.
The repayment of the bailout loans will be at the top of the agenda this time around.
The Troika will meet teams from the Central Bank, Dept. of Finance, Department of Public Expenditures and Reform, NTMA, and NAMA. No ministers are expected to meet up with the Troika visitors.
Concerns have been raised about Ireland’s high unemployment, large public and private debt levels, and high nonperforming loans.
