There’s been online consternation after the public became aware that yet another Irish citizen died from homelessness.
It is a shameful indictment of this, and previous Cabinets, when their own citizens die in wretched homelessness.
The latest indirect victim of this Cabinet is a 26-year-old mother of two, who was found dead inside a hotel room in Kildare where she had been temporarily housed.
It is understood that the woman had recently been accepted into permament housing.
The woman’s passing follows the death of a homeless man in his 50s in Dublin.
