
Over the weekend, a teenage teenager in Co Kildare perished from drowning, reports RTE.
The incident occurred on Saturday night on the Grand Canal between Ardclough and Celbridge.
Around 5.40 p.m., according to the GardaÃ, they learned of a person who was having trouble in the canal, reports RTE.
Shortly after many rescue services arrived on the site, the boy’s body was pulled out of the sea.
According to GardaÃ, the post-mortem examination is being arranged, and the local coroner has been alerted, reports RTE.
