A woman found deceased inside a Belfast home may have laid undiscovered for up to two years, authorities say.
The heavily decomposed body of 68-year-old Marie Conlon was found by officers who forced entry into her house in Belfast on October 6.
Forensic tests put the time of death at January 2015. The tests also showed that the woman’s death may have been violent.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the grim discovery.
