Gardaí have begun an investigation after a man aged in his 40s died as a result of a fatal fall in Kinsale Co Cork.
According to RTÉ News, the 45-year-old man suffered fatal head injuries in the fall which occurred on Monday afternoon.
It is believed the man may have fallen some 15m from a wall near Kinsale‘s Outdoor Education Centre.
The investigation comes after the man’s body was tragically discovered at St John’s Hill at approximately 3.15pm on Monday afternoon.
Gardaí investigating the incident say they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination which due to take place today.
