Dublin Airport have confirmed that a large number of flights have been cancelled due to strong winds caused by Storm Ali.
In announcement made this afternoon the airport said that a total of 42 flights have been cancelled whilst a further 8 have been diverted due to the prevailing bad weather.
The DAA have said further cancellations may happen and there will be lengthy delays to some flights in the aftermath of the storm.
They also reminded people to check their scheduled flight before setting off for the airport.
It is expected further updates will be provided throughout the day.
