Wrestling may be fake but this is sadly true.
Roman Reigns, one of the WWE headliners of this era sadly announced last night that he has leukemia for the second time in 11 years.
The 33-yr-old wrestler, real name Joseph Anoaʻi, said that he first had it back when he was 22 and that unfortunately he has to battle it again.
Reigns is a cousin of wrestler/actor The Rock and comes from a long line of successful and famous wrestlers.
A practicing Catholic, Reigns thanked the fans and said that he has “strong faith but that he’ll take all the prayers they can offer”. He went on to say that he would now leave the WWE and go home to look after his family and health but that he will return and that he was not retiring.
