Gardai in Co Cork have begun an investigation after two teenage girls were allegedly approached by a group of men in Bishopstown.
According to RSVPLive, the two girls were approached by a group of men whilst they were walking towards a Lidl store last Thursday.
The paper states that one of the girl’s mother’s spoke to the Neil Prendeville show explaining that her daughter had been approached by a group of foreign men who followed them and called on them.
It is understood that the girl’s made it to safety after a man driving a van intervened.
Gardai say they have been made aware of the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
