Gardai have seized four shotguns suspected of having been used in a number of gang-related incidents in recent days and weeks in Dublin.
No fewer than seven shooting instances have occurred in the Corduff area of the capital over the last week. Gardai suspect that the shootings were tit-for-tat attacks between two opposing factions of the same gang. No personal injuries were reported during the skirmishes.
Gardai subsequently carried out searches across six properties, seizing weapons and ammo.
