A rather unusual video has surfaced (excuse the pun) on social media this morning which shows the fin of a shark swimming around Dublin’s Grand Canal.
The short clip apparently shows a fin of shark circling the waters outside the Portobello College earlier today, it is understood the clip which has gone viral was shot by students playing a prank. Reports suggest a group of students decided to raise everybody’s suspicions when they placed a mechanical fin in the water outside the college and post shark warning posters along the canal.
The prank which has appeared on websites such as Facebook and Twitter has received a large response with many finding the prank to be creative and fairly amusing.
