A covid vaccine mandate has been introduced in Austria after a law was passed, making it obligatory for everyone to take it.
According to RTE, the law was passed by a large margin in a country where 69% of the population is full vaccinated. The government are trying to say that this justifies the law and fines of up to €3,600.
Many social media users are expressing their shock at the move which many people saying that it is giving too much power to the government at a time when Covid restrictions are dropping worldwide.
