An emergency crew from North Dublin has received great praise for their efforts overnight, as they successfully helped deliver a baby boy.
It is understood that members from Dublin Fire Brigade and the National Ambulance Service helped deliver the baby boy at approximately 9.40pm last night, after they were called by a woman in labour. A short time later the little boy along with his mother were taken to the Rotunda hospital by the National Ambulance Service.
It is believed that both mother and baby are doing fine and the crews are heralded as heroes.
