There was some bad news for staff at manufacturer Rondo Food as the company confirmed that it’s to close their Wicklow factory.
In an announcement the company confirmed that the factory will close at the end of January.
It is believed that the decision comes as the company who make pet treats will move their operations to Germany.
The news will come as a blow to 150 employees at the Arklow factory, however the company have confirmed redundancy packages have been offered to all of their staff.
