The British Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt, has executed the perfect bait & switch, as people who were tricked into investing in electric cars to comply with ‘green’ requirements will now have to pay road tax anyway.
According to Mr. Hunt, the new tax will make the system ‘fairer.’
The new tax will apply from April 2025.
