In a truly shocking story, 17-yr-old Julio Marcias Gonzalez from Mexico City sadly died after the hickey his girlfriend gave him formed blood clot that traveled to his brain and caused a stroke.
Julio Macias Gonzalez started having convulsions at the dinner table with his family in Mexico City after spending an evening with his 24-yr old girlfriend.
Paramedics were called to the boy’s house and did their best to revive him, but unfortunately they were unable to save his life.
Tragically, it’s believed that the suction of the love bite, commonly known as a “hickey” caused a blood clot which traveled to Julio’s brain and caused him to have a stroke.
His girlfriend has now gone missing since the boy’s death, but Julio’s parents want to emphasize they are not blaming her for the tragedy.
